Last year many of us travelled through to Edinburgh on Assembly Sunday to join the thousands in Princes Street Gardens to celebrate the Life of the Church at Roll away the stone.

This year the event is bigger and better and is called Heart and Soul. It is on Sunday 20th May from 1pm to 6pm. This time the church is taking over all of the gardens as a time to celebrate together and witness to our capital city.

Like last year, we hope as many of us as possible can go to represent Flowerhill . We will be travelling through on the 1242 train from Airdrie or you might want to get on at Drumgelloch (bring a packed lunch for the train) and we will travel back after the massed service.

There will be the usual stalls:- Plants, Bric-a-brac, Home baking, Books, CDs, DVDs and lots more. All gardeners start growing your plants now.
